I booked this hotel through work for a one night business stay, and I was pleasantly surprised to find I had been upgraded to a larger room. I found the facilities ranged from sufficient for my needs to delightful and I had no issues at all. The person on reception (Dania) was an absolute breath of fresh air, friendly, courteous and made me feel very welcome when I arrived in exhausted. The free coffee machine in reception was really appreciated, for cocoa at bedtime!

Stayed in a loft suite and was disappointed. Cracked tiles, chipped sinked, filthy windows, paint splatters on the floor, hole in bathroom wall, chipped work tops, no remote for TV. Was excited to stay, left very disappointed, not worth the money in my opinion, expected better for the price being charged

Pure Manchester gold…the old and the new combined. Beautiful old building brought to back to life in a new exciting format…staffed by young ,caring ,smiling ,helpful staff…with old fashioned manners . Perfection. Grab and go breakfast available..so easy. Edgy style,comfortable room with great views ….and everything anybody could possibly want within walking distance. Terrific 2 night stay…made better by ,Ghiselle ( spelling may be wrong,excuse me) chambermaid manager,I believe….so helpful.All the reception staff,who greeted us on every return with a big smile ,and a chat …Elizabeth,Mia,Martin and the young chap who checked us in ,didn’t catch his name..tired.He had light coloured hair. Rajaa in reception was so lovely and welcoming. I came to celebrate my birthday which was a couple days ago with my friend and we were in and out exploring all day and into the night but Rajaa greeted us with a smile every time she opened the door for us, it was lovely. There was another lady working on wednesday (3rd) morning who was also lovely and took our safety and security very seriously. The customer service here is top notch and we will be returning. The only snag is that advertised free breakfast made me think it was more than it was (croissants and coffee).

Rajaa was a phenomenal receptionist and so sweet and nice, my friend and I were in and out all the time and not once did she make us feel not welcome. Check in was really easy and the room was great too, really comfy bed! Didn’t catch her name, but there was another receptionist in the day who was also very sweet and nice. She took our security very seriously and made us feel safe. Only thing would be the lack of breakfast. I was hoping for a full English but there was only self serve croissants (which were very nice btw) and a coffee machine All in all the service is great and I would definitely stay again
